This T1 Solar PV Technician course is designed for youth and entry-level technicians seeking skills in solar PV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, specifically for SESA deployment.
The course blends online theory modules with hands-on practical bootcamps to ensure learners gain the knowledge and real-world experience needed to:
- Install small-scale solar home systems (0–240 Wp)
- Perform safe and quality-assured electrical work
- Carry out routine system maintenance
- Assist in rural electrification projects under SESA
- Prepare for EPRA T1 licensing
No prior experience is required; the course is suitable for vocational students, electricians, or community-based energy technicians.
