1. Introduction
Welcome to Mirari Institute. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, learning management systems, training programs, digital courses, physical facilities, and all services offered by Mirari Institute.

- “Programs” include all courses, workshops, certifications, events, and training offered by Mirari Institute.
- “Platform” means the website, LMS, SIS, or any digital system owned or managed by Mirari Institute.
3. Eligibility
- You must meet the minimum academic entry requirements for your program.
- You must provide accurate personal information during registration.
- Users under 18 must have parent/guardian consent.
Mirari Institute reserves the right to accept or reject applications.
4. Use of the Website & LMS
By accessing our online platforms, you agree to:
- Use the system only for educational purposes
- Not share your login credentials
- Not upload harmful, illegal, or plagiarized content
- Follow digital conduct and academic integrity standards
Mirari Institute may suspend access for misuse, academic dishonesty, or breach of any policy.
5. Enrollment & Registration
Enrollment in any program becomes valid only after:

- Payment of fees (where applicable)
- Approval by the Institute
Mirari Institute may request additional information for verification.
6. Fees, Payments & Refunds
- All program fees must be paid according to the fee structure published by the Institute.
- Fees are payable through official Mirari Institute accounts or approved payment channels.

Refund Policy:
- Fees are generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Refunds may be considered only for:
- Course cancellation by Mirari Institute
- Overpayment
- Withdrawal before course commencement (10% admin fee applies)
- Mirari Institute is not responsible for payments made to unauthorized persons.
7. Academic Integrity
Students must:
- Submit original work
- Avoid plagiarism and cheating
- Follow all examination rules
- Maintain ethical conduct in physical and digital interactions
Violation may lead to disciplinary action, suspension, or expulsion.
8. Code of Conduct
All users of Mirari Institute facilities or platforms must:
- Treat staff and other students with respect
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, or misconduct
- Maintain acceptable behavior on campus
- Use equipment responsibly
- Comply with safety and security guidelines
Failure may result in disciplinary action.
9. Intellectual Property
- All course materials, content, videos, labs, exams, and digital assets remain the property of Mirari Institute or its partners (including Google, Microsoft, Tablet Academy, Wawiwa Tech, etc.).
- Students may not copy, reproduce, resell, or distribute materials without permission.
- Certificates, badges, and credentials are issued for personal use only.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
Mirari Institute adheres to the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019).
We collect and process personal data such as:
- Name, ID, contacts
- Academic records
- Payment information
- LMS usage activity
Data is used for:
- Academic purposes
- Student management
- Certification
- Institutional communication
We do not sell or disclose data to third parties except:
- Regulatory bodies (e.g., MoE, NITA, TVETA, KNEC if applicable)
- Accrediting partners (e.g., Google, Microsoft)
- Technology service providers assisting in training delivery

11. Certification & Completion Requirements
Issuing of certificates, badges, or transcripts depends on:
- Completion of required coursework
- Passing exams or assessments
- Payment of all fees
- Adherence to Institute policies
The Institute reserves the right to withhold certificates for non-compliance.
12. Limitation of Liability
Mirari Institute is not liable for:
- Loss of data caused by user negligence
- Internet disruptions or downtime during online learning
- Loss of property on campus unless handed over officially
- Any indirect or incidental damages arising from use of our services
13. Amendments
Mirari Institute may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the website and become effective immediately. Continued use of the website or services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the Laws of Kenya, including:
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training Act
- Kenya Data Protection Act

- ICT and Cybersecurity regulations
