Course Introduction

HSK 2 builds on the foundation of HSK 1 by expanding your ability to use Mandarin in real-life situations.
Learners develop longer sentence patterns, more functional expressions, and improved listening comprehension.

This level introduces new everyday topics, core sentence structures, and interactive communication tasks modeled on real Chinese life and culture.
By the end of this course, learners can carry short conversations confidently and understand simple spoken Chinese.

 

Course Objectives

After completing HSK 2, learners will be able to:

Language Skills

• Understand Mandarin used in daily communication
• Use approximately 150 new vocabulary words
• Form accurate short sentences without relying on English structure
• Ask and answer questions in familiar situations
• Describe routines, people, activities, and preferences
• Handle simple shopping, food, transport, and health conversations
