Course Overview
The T2 Solar PV Technician course is an advanced training program designed for technicians who have completed T1 or have equivalent experience.
This course provides in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on skills to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot larger standalone PV systems, hybrid systems, and small mini-grids.
T2 prepares participants to:
- Install PV systems up to ~800 Wp (household + small commercial systems)
- Design and size PV systems based on actual load and site conditions
- Work safely with AC and DC components
- Integrate solar systems with batteries, inverters, and controllers
- Lead small installation teams in SESA deployments
- Prepare for EPRA T2 licensing
